Recently\, he performed as principal double bassist under the conductor and composer Krzysztof Penderecki. Upon the composer’s request\, Matt performed his own adaptation of Penderecki’s Capriccio for Sigfried Palm. He previously was a member of the Renew ensemble\, a group that specialized in contemporary improvisation.
