One of Lisa Dowling’s compositions performed at Manhattan School of Music. Great textures and color. I want to learn this one!
This piece was originally written for cello but Henze published it for double bass. Here, Jeff Bradetich performs it in a recital at University of North Texas.
A great piece with all sorts of interesting things going on, showing different moods and tone colors.
Performed by Lisa Dowling at the Manhattan School of Music. I’ll definitely be posting more of her performances in the weeks ahead–she does quite a lot of interesting stuff.
